“Oh, The Places You’ll Go!” by Dr. Seuss is one of my favorite childhood books. It has held meaning for me many times in my life. Tampa Jewish Family Services is embarking on a new journey as a new fiscal year begins. I am very excited to be working with the entire TJFS’ Board, our new Board President Jeffrey Berger, and several new directors whom I have had the privilege to become acquainted with. I’d like to extend a welcome to Beth Gemunder, Susan Glickman, Andy Titen and Joseph Weissman, whose Board term began on July 1.
Among several new services to be introduced this year is a psychological testing program that will allow families to receive educational services for their children at mission driven (sliding scale) prices. More about this and other programs will become in the weeks ahead. Please join me in the journey ahead as TJFS works hard to fulfill its mission to strengthen individuals and families in the Tampa area.
