Dear Friends,
This has been a busy and exciting few months. We hope you were able to join us for our annual Trifecta fundraiser, LOL-FECTA.
We reimagined it and held it as a virtual event featuring Pamela Rae Schuller. And though we can’t wait for next year when we can be together in person, this event was very special! I think most would agree that Pamela was hilarious. She was also poignant and thought-provoking and reminded us all of important lessons about acceptance and kindness.
If you missed her at LOL-FECTA, you should definitely check out her schedule, and try to see her show. Hopefully she’ll be back in Tampa soon!
In addition to being a wonderful gathering, LOL-FECTA raised a significant amount of money for Tampa Jewish Family Services. We raised $34,800 dollars through sponsorships, ticket sales and donations!
We can’t tell you how much we appreciate your help as we continue to see an increased need for our services. Special thanks to all who supported us.
I want to personally thank all of our directors for their ongoing support and guidance during this past year. Now as things slowly move back to “normal” we are ready to look forward.
This summer we will be focusing on continuing to meet the increasing needs in our community. We will have our summer food banks, including fresh fruits and vegetables. We will also work with our community partners to help feed those communities farther away. We will be welcoming patients, both new and old, for counseling services with our new social worker – Erik Libby.
We will also be offering services again at Weinberg Village. In addition, we will continue to meet the needs of those community members needing emergency financial assistance and referrals.
Best Regards,
Dr. Beth Ann
