TJFS’ CEO Michael Barnett

I walked into my local department store and was quickly engulfed in the holidays!  It seems like each year the marketing and promotion for them begins earlier and earlier.  It’s a joyous time.  It is also quite stressful.  While the official estimates have not been released, the National Retail Federation (NRF) anticipates families will spend on average of $700 on holiday gifts this year.  This figure is unobtainable for a family in crisis or just getting by.  Instead of multiple gifts, sacrifices must be made and hopefully a gift can be provided to the children.  Tampa Jewish Family is here to help.  We have distributed wish lists from our clients to synagogues and churches in Hillsborough County.  They are also available here at our offices (13009 Community Campus Drive, Tampa, FL 33625) or by calling (813)960-1848  to receive a wish over the phone.  Gifts will be distributed December 22nd & 23rd. Your support would be greatly appreciated.  With your help we can make a child’s holiday special.
