Therapeutic Benefits of Working with Horses
Presenter: Edie Ebbert Dopking, Ph.D., Founder/Executive Director, Quantum Leap Farm
Quantum Leap Farm is a nonprofit equine-assisted therapies program serving children and adults with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities. Dr. Dopking will summarize the therapies provided at Quantum Leap and the benefits of working with horses. She will demonstrate how people of all ages and abilities grow strong, increase confidence, achieve therapeutic goals, and overcome challenges by engaging them with horses.
